Who am I?

    


 Hello and welcome to my blog! I'm Shanuka, 21yrs old and the creator of WhiskADough. 

WhiskADough was a little company of mine that I had started from home back in India, mid 2020. Within the year I created numerous cakes and personalized many too. I am presently pursuing a diploma in Baking and Pastry Arts in Toronto; therefore, my enterprise has been placed on hold. 


      My first attempt at baking was with a premix for my sister's birthday, but the cake was just so awful that I had to buy a premade sponge and frosting and construct something resembling a cake out of it. Despite the fact that the cake looked shabby, my family was so encouraging that I never gave up hope and started to evolve and testing various recipes, which I have never stopped doing since. As a result, I was able to launch my own business.


      My passion for baking grows by the day, recipe by recipe, which is why I am so eager to document my progress on my blog. Blogging is new to me, and I honestly would not have begun since it is a bit daunting, but I'm pleased it's a part of my course now so that I can gain some exposure, learn more, and meet others who share my interest. 


    In this blog, I will discuss all of my baking experiences in Toronto, as well as my challenges and observations of the items I produce, in order to avoid sugarcoating anything.
